Born in 1824 at Old Buckenham, Norfolk where he lived all his life. He died in 1901 aged 77. ( Guiltcross June 1901 4b 149) He married Elizabeth Potter 22nd November 1850. Marriage Certificate held, his father was confirmed as Zephaniah. She died in 1902 aged 78. (Wayland June 1902 4b 148) The 1841 Norfolk census shows him apprenticed as a tailor to his future father in law Amos Potter. The name Robert Woodrow which appeared on his mother's death certificate appears again as a witness on his marriage certificate.
