Hello Barry,

I've just come to the Aldous Family tree to pick up some links for our Payne Family Website ...... www.the-paynes.net and have found that you have added our line to the family tree. Last time I looked it wasn't there.

I'm just stoked, about this just stoked.... oh, stoked is Strine for "over the moon" or "all fired up" as in a fire being stoked, something like that ..... the information comes from my family tree because I recognise my notes on Alexandra John Keith, my name is even there and this pleases me immensely.

Anyway, first thanks for putting up the information. We've now decided that Rosette Zillah is actually Zillah Rosina or Rosina Zillah because of the name of some of her descendants. It's hard to be catagorical about her name because of their habit of putting one thing on certificates and using one of the 2 or 3rd names in real life!! So we've settled on Zillah Rosina because she used Zillah not Rosina.

Second, as I've said we now have our own website that you might like to have a look at. Not as sophisticated as yours but we'll get there at some point in the future.

Third, our line, that you have on the website is now a little out of date ... we've found out so much more in the last 12 months. and

Fourth, would it be possible to swap links between the sites. As you probably know, one of the hardest things when one sets up a new site is to get the search engines to find you ... and I'm led to believe by John Payne of Web Marketing Ezine (who's an expert on search engine optimisation) that swapping links with people already there is the way to go about this.

Anyway, having bombarded you with all of this I'll leave you to ponder. Oh a coincidence, my uncle Francis Rodney Hughes spent time at RAF Bridgnorth in 1943/44 unfortunately after finishing training he was posted to 40 Squadron in the Middle East and Italy and died returning from a raid to the Roumanian Old fields ..do you have some connection with Bridgnorth??
