Also had a step daughter, who was latterly Mrs Ada HANNAN, heroine of the sea
rescue of the "Penguin" wreck survivors. Mrs Hannan had lost two children with
illness, then her husband and four children in the wreck, saved a child (not
her own) and had son herself seven months later. This child became a ships
